Extension of collection interval - Mixed waste

NOTE! Only properties located in area B must apply to the waste management board for an extended emptying interval for mixed waste bins.

If you live in area A, you arrange the extended emptying interval directly with your waste transportation company.

The division into areas A and B is based on postal codes. The area division determines whether separate collection of bio waste is mandatory or not. You can find the area division through this link.

If you live in area B, before you fill in the application for an extended emptying interval, you must do one of the following:

• Submit a composting notification (form available under the Forms tab)
• Order a biowaste bin from Stormossen
• Order a multi-compartment bin from Stormossen that includes biowaste collection

From April 24, 2027 onward, all changes to emptying intervals will be managed through Stormossen.
