The Vaasa Region Waste Management Board is responsible for the statutory public authority duties of municipalities related to organizing waste management in the municipalities of Maalahti, Mustasaari, Korsnäs, Isokyrö, Vaasa, and Vöyri.
The Vaasa Region Waste Management Board held its first meeting on March 13, 2014.
The City of Vaasa acts as the host municipality of the Waste Management Board and is responsible for its administration.
